Mandate: Build effective Social Media presence. Turn Social channels into significant awareness and lead generator

Reporting to: Nordic Media Director

Responsibilities include:

Nordic Strategy & Guidelines

  • Set social media strategy – advises platforms where CD should be present (FB, IG, YT as minimum), secures correct technical set up, and defines role and tactics for each channel
  • Briefs relevant content to the in-house content team
  • Delivers clear guidelines to the local markets, including monthly SoMe editorial calendar (working with Chief Editor) incl paid campaigns, and monthly budget recommendations
  • Represents social media in the Nordic & local campaigns development process – the role and usage of the channels, the required content
  • Defines tools that CD should use to optimize Social Media monitoring, execution, performance. Secures that the tools support other relevant functions e.g. PR, customer service
  • Defines opportunities with influencers and pursues agreed opportunities
  • Defines opportunities with partners and executes agreed initiatives
  • Has a great understanding of trends in social media marketing, brings external inspiration to the team, encourages testing & learning in the area

Execution

  • Is accountable for SoMe KPI: 1. Reach, 2. Leads generation, 3. Engagement
  • Is either executing paid SoMe campaigns or on selected campaigns works with Nordic/local media agency
  • Person in the Nordic role is also 50% assigned to the local Norwegian market (hands-on responsibility for Norwegian social media marketing)
  • Builds internal network with key stakeholders: web team, analysts, ecommerce team, CX, customer service

Performance & learning

  • Drives weekly/monthly SoMe performance dashboard for CD and key defined competitors. Provides SoMe reporting on defined campaigns. Provides after action review and recommends corrective actions based on solid performance understanding
  • Acts as sparring partner for all Nordic markets. Shares best practice. Organizes needed training. Steps into local discussions with agencies as senior specialist
