Why we contact you – Our recruitment search process

Our search process starts as soon as we get an assignment from a customer and our task is to identify and match the right candidate for the role. We usually post an ad in our digital channels for instance our website and our LinkedIn page so that there is also an opportunity to apply for the role as well. But the most common way for us to find the right candidate is through search, where we actively seek out potential and relevant candidates.

How we approach a search
We have a strong and broad network of contacts, which we use to identify interesting candidates and also to get tips and ideas to relevant people to speak to from. Then we often search through LinkedIn, look to target companies in the specific assignment and conduct various online searches to find candidates.

Who do we contact?
Our goal is to find the best possible match and the right person for the job and that means we both look at what our clients are asking for, but we also try to look at the broader potential in candidates. There will be times when we contact candidates that have an interesting profile, but who may not be relevant in the specific assignment we are working on at the time. At times it may be that you have more seniority than the role requires or that you are still lacking some years of experience compared to what the candidate profile states, however until we have had a chance to learn a little bit more about your experience and motivation in detail, we will keep all doors open. If we contact you, we’ve seen something in your profile that we are curious to learn more about.

If you get curious
Then we have a conversation in which you will get an opportunity to learn more about the role and we will have the opportunity to learn more about you. If there is still an interest from both sides, we will make an appointment to meet and have a more formal and in-depth interview.

If you are not interested
We welcome your feedback and why this role is of no interest to you. It may be that this specific role was not right for you, not the right type of business or industry, or perhaps simply just wrong timing. In any case, we value long-term relationships and would like to keep in touch in the future.

Things to consider
You may not actively seek a new challenge, but you may be open to listen if the right opportunity comes along. In order to help recruiters find you it’s good to:
• Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date with brief information about your respective roles
• Write a short summary on LinkedIn about your professional role and the areas in which you work
• Follow recruitment companies to see the ongoing assignments they work with and can find you more easily
• It could be good to join groups in areas of interest to you
• Be sure to keep your CV updated so that you are prepared when the right opportunity comes along.
