This is a newly created position in order to expand the Procurement team for Future Base Materials, helping Tetra Pak on their sustainability journey. This is a highly prioritized area on Tetra Pak’s agenda and therefor this role will be of high importance for the future sustainability work within the organization.
As the Procurement Manager you will be developing and managing the partner & future supplier relationships while implementing the right supplier strategy for future base materials. You will drive cross-functional partnerships & align internal and external stakeholders on any study or project that requires future supplier management as well as developmental, licensing or intellectual property sharing agreements. As for internal stakeholders, you will collaborate with Tetra Pak’s Development & Engineering team on mid and long-term sustainability and circular economy innovation scouting.
The Procurement Manager will lead the implementation of developmental, licensing or intellectual property sharing agreements. It is of importance to ensure on-boarding and transition of new suppliers to the Supply Chain Operations Base Materials team. You will also drive process improvements to ensure collaboration and sourcing approach stays agile, while making best use of external analysis providers.
As the Procurement Manager you will report to the Director Procurement Foil, Ink & Future Base Materials. The role will be based at Tetra Pak’s HQ in Lund, Sweden, and spend an estimated 15% of the time traveling to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications:
We are looking for a person with demonstrated excellent communication skills combined with a proven ability to manage internal and external relationships in a cooperative, diplomatic and successful manner. You have a strong drive for results and processes with hands on experience of executing changes in a global environment. We also believe you have the ability to deal with ambiguity & continuous change in terms of work scope and challenges identified.
