Would you like the opportunity to work as a Supply Chain Development Manager in a global environment, developing and improving the efficiency of the supply chain and operations of the world’s leading manufacturer of iron and metal powders? Höganäs are now looking to expand their organisation within Global Operations with a Supply Chain Development Manager.

We are looking for you

who is experienced in working with supply chain management in an international context. You are a good communicator with the ability to build relationships internally as well as externally in your work. In order to succeed we think you need experience working with change management affiliated to supply chain and/or logistics. You will need a strong analytical mindset to evaluate, develop and standardize processes within the organisation in order to work more effectively as one unit.


  • M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in a relevant position at an international producing company
  • Experience in change management in logistics- and supply chain management
  • Strong acumen in ERP system set-up from Supply Chain and production planning perspective
  • Proficient in spoken and written English


  • Leadership experience
  • Understanding and/or experienced working with shipping


About the position

 The position is located at HQ in Höganäs with an estimated requirement of 50-60 days travelling a year.

As Supply Chain Development Manager at Höganäs the overall responsibility will be to develop the capability and cost efficiency of Höganäs global Supply Chain, within Global Operations. This means, proactively drive actions on a global level to standardize our internal processes within Supply Chain. The person in this position will be the owner of Höganäs global Sales & Operations process, monitoring the actual global production capacity.

This newly appointed role will be responsible for ensuring that internal directives and rules are being followed, and to see to it that pertinent laws regarding occupational health, safety and environment are complied with. In order to succeed, required permits and certifications need to be in place.

Other areas and tasks to actively work with:

  • Proactively contribute to the digitalization agenda within the Group and our Supply Chain.
  • Increase efficiency and visibility in our global Production and Supply Chain via the extended use of, and added functionality to, our ERP system.
  • Initiate and introduce relevant analysis tools
  • Introduce sustainability as a natural part of the solutions in our Supply Chain set-up
  • In cooperation with all parts of our global Operations organisation, introduce a structured contingency planning.
  • Continuously work to balance inventory level with service.
  • Develop and control relevant global Supply Chain KPI’s
  • Together with all parts of our organisation, identify and analyse business development opportunities within Supply Chain
  • Identify, develop and/or run global projects
