The art of Computer Science
Harvey Nash are excited to announce two distinguished lectures with world acclaimed Bjarne Stroustrup, creator and developer of C++.
In partnership with Morgan Stanley, University of Edinburgh School of Informatics and Strathclyde University School of Computing, Harvey Nash are co-hosting two free events in Edinburgh and Glasgow on the 28th and 29th April.
Bjarne Stroustrup will be lecturing on the essence of C++, its foundations and what sets it apart from other languages. He will also be exploring the latest features in the field of Computer Science and new techniques.
Following the lecture, food and drinks will be provided and there will be opportunities to network. This is an excellent opportunity for both students and professionals to hear one of the most influential computer scientists of modern history speak. Stroustrup has a number of academic publications as well as seven published books, including, ‘The C++ Programming Language’ which is the most widely read of its kind. To this day Bjarne Stroustrup continues to take an active role in C++ standards.
