Harvey Nash Newcastle hosts first ever Aspire Network event

July 1, 2014

Harvey Nash were proud to bring the Aspire Network to Newcastle upon Tyne this year.

On the 6th June Café 21 opened its doors for an evening of debate and discussion surrounding women in business and the challenges they face today.
As the first Aspire event in the North East region, it was a delight to introduce the Network to the area, offering practical initiatives to help women progress through the stages of their career.
Carol Rosati, Aspire founder, and Chi Onwurah, MP for Newcastle Central, both attended the event, giving great insight into their careers and the people who have helped shape their path through the business world.
The Aspire dinner was an intimate and private dinner, which afforded everyone the opportunity to get involved in the discussion around practical initiatives that can improve the supply of top female talent in the North East region.
The Aspire network is able to offer advice on Non-Executive Director/Executive roles, mentoring opportunities and knowledge share and we hope that this is the first of many events to come to the North East.
