ISS Sweden are looking for driven Business Development Managers to strengthen their new commercial organization and be a part of ISS further development. In the role as a Business Development Manager you will develop the market and the segments where ISS is active and identify business opportunities within the Key Account segment.  You will grow existing accounts, and build senior/trusted relationships with Clients Stakeholder within different segments and business units.

The Business Development Manager Leads ISS Commercial sales process – from start to finish, i.e. from lead qualification to contract signing, together with a team of highly skilled colleagues. You are responsible for that all incoming requests are managed, and you improve quality and increase production rate of bids and the win-rate. You have ability to work both operational and strategic in a fast-pasted environment.

As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify market opportunities for ISS and contribute to overall growth strategy
  • Manage ISS Commercial sales process – from start to finish, ie from lead qualification to contract signing.
  • Develop and execute plan to achieve ISS growth targets
  • Project lead internal resources in large sales projects of service outsourcing
  • Develop and present value propositions through proposals and presentations
  • Build strong relationships with partners by understanding their needs and business objectives
  • Deliver or overachieve on individual budget target as set by commercial director
  • Develop and build client relationships with different segments and business units

As Business Development Manager, you are a part of Country Commercial division and reports to the Head of Business Development Private / Public.


In order to be successful, you have a strong commercial background with experience from solutions sales, concept selling, Bid management and experience to set structure. You also have:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in business, economics or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 yrs. relevant work experience e.g. from working with complex sales, business development or leading consultancy firm
  • Strong Project Management, problem solving and analytic skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Full understanding of IFS Solutions, sales process, value proposition and concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to work in an agile and fast-moving organization
  • Experience in negotiation in corporate environment
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
