Head of Cargo Sales

Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, the Head of Cargo Sales, Region Scandinavia will be responsible for leading a dedicated sales team to success in the crucial home marked, by setting ambitious goals, creating the conditions for success, and following up on the entire sales organization. The sales team is geographically spread over Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Other task and responsibilities will include:

·         Account responsibility for selected Global Partners

·         Business reviews and weekly meetings focusing on business results

·         Coaching and developing the sales team

As a part of the Leadership Team (SCL), the Head of Cargo Sales will be engaged in co-developing the strategy, be responsible for communicating the strategy and objectives, and lead strategic projects across the organization, e.g. SAS Cargo’s Customer Care Strategy. The Head of Cargo Sales is also part of the Global Sales Management Team.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a proven air freight sales professional, a leader with drive and experience, that can inspire beyond the sales team and drive excellence stakeholder management – most likely holding a Master’s degree in sales, marketing or similar. We expect that you have significant experience in:

·         Leading a geographically spread team

·         The freight forwarding industry in general and airfreight specifically

·         Complex negotiation at all levels including c-level

·         Working with advanced excel models
