Responsibilities and tasks:
As Marketing Director, you report to the CEO and will be part of the Management Team. This is a newly created position within the organization which offers an exciting opportunity to build something new. Previously, the marketing role had been combined with a regional sales role. The time has now come to have the right candidate fully dedicated into a Marketing Director role to help lead Micvac towards its next milestones of growth.

  • At the outset, there is a great deal of focus on shaping the marketing strategy and capability
  • Take full ownership of the Micvac brand, develop brand value of the entire Micvac “system”
  • To cohesively and efficiently build and deliver the company’s brand, market communications and product portfolio together to ensure the long-term growth plan
  • Responsible for designing and managing all marketing plans, key driver/partner in the entire sales process including being a regular part of pitching and presenting to potential and existing customers
  • Being a key driver of innovation and commercialization of new products and brand development
  • Develop, execute and monitor key performance indicators for marketing and sales activity
  • Manage existing product portfolio and initiate needs of update and changes, including new products
  • Drive regional marketing and go-to-market approaches to achieve set goals for growth
  • Develop and motivate own staff
  • Managing relationships with external marketing agencies
  • Ongoing evaluation and updating of the customer value proposition, leveraging ROI in the sales process

Your profile:
Your personality is characterized by a great drive, energy, and enthusiasm. You have a willingness and capability to take responsibility for your own area, effectively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, and contribute towards the success of the whole company.

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional marketing experience
  • Proven experience towards B2B customers and understanding of B2C and Retailers
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions
  • Experience in brand marketing and very commercially minded
  • Strong organizational skills, timely delivery of projects
  • Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Ability to quickly learn new things, including strong understanding of the Micvac technology/system
  • Highly motivated and self-starter
  • People management and experience of leading within a small but still international thinking organization
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish (additional languages an advantage)
  • Travel as needed to support the development and growth of the business
